Cascading StyleSheet (CSS) Link Text Formatting in NetObjects Fusion
Printer-friendly version
When you add a link to some existing CSS-formatted text, you might get unexpected formatting results. For best results, set only color properties for CSS link styles.
Check your CSS link formatting settings in two places:
- Style View, Text tab, and
- Page View, on the Menu select Text, Edit Text Styles.
In each of those areas, set only the desired color. Leave all other settings on "Automatic." Why?
- If you define a font size for link text, the link style font size will override the font size of the page text when you make a link in your page.
- This behavior is probably NOT what you want.
To check your link style settings for each possible CSS style level, in Page View's Text Styles dialog, check all the available Scope settings. If you do that, you will get no odd formatting with text links.
