Transferring An Existing Domain To

When you start hosting with there are a few things that you must do in order to prepare your new domain so that your new account and hosting location comes online without any glitches or problems.

The first thing you should do:

Log into your control panel at

Add your domain name in the control panel

Add all of the email addresses that you are now using to this new account

Create a temporary URL for your new hosted location

Upload your current web site to our web servers using the temporary URL that you created above.

Using the temporary URL you created in your control panel, TEST all of your web pages to make sure everything is working correctly. Access your web site with a browser by pasting in the temporary URL and looking at all of the pages.

After you are confident that everything is displaying correctly and you have all of your email addresses prepared

Go to where you have your domain registered and CHANGE the DNS records to point to our web servers

It may take as little as an hour or as long as 48 hours for your domain name to propagate and be seen from our web servers

When you can type in your URL and see your web site from our servers you can stop using the temporary URL you created and upload to your domain using your actual domain name. It is a good idea to put something on your opening page you have uploaded to our web servers so that you know when you are seeing content from our web servers and not from your old host.
