You have seen web pages that have a link to e-mail the current page to a friend on them. Here is a very nice script that you can place on your web sites that has an input box and submit button where a site visitor can enter someone's e-mail address and they will receive an e-mail with the URL to the page that the script is placed on.
Placing this script is a 2 step process. One part of the script goes into the head of the web page and the other part goes into the body of the page.
First decide if you want this "e-mail this page to a friend" on one page or on all of your pages. If you wish to include this on EVERY page of your site place everything into the MasterBorder if you only want this on ONE page then use the layout, if you want this on SELECTED pages then place the head part of the script in the MasterBorder head insertion tab and then you can use the call section of the script on any web page you wish
Step 1
Download this zipped TXT file then copy and paste the javascript contained in that file into the head of your pages using the HTML insertion button on either the MasterBorder or Layout Properties palette.
Step 2
Decide the location of where you want the input box and submit button to appear then press Ctrl+ T then download this zipped TXT file and copy and paste the javascript contained in that file into the HTML insertion box of your pages .
The HTML insert icon  will appear on your page to show you where your address input box and submit button will appear
How it will look on your web site
Give it a try and see how the e-mail is formatted. You can edit the script to show different e-mail and page text if you wish
