Question:

How do I add a domain name for a customer who has purchased hosting from me?


Answer:

Customers can add their own domain names from their control panel.  As a courtesy you may want to add their domain name when you set up their account.

To add a domain name for your customer:

  1. Login to the Helm control panel http://helm.gothosting.biz
  2. Click on the Users Icon
  3. Select the User from the list of users that is displayed
  4. Click on the Domains Icon
  5. Click on the Add New button at the lower right
  6. Enter the Domain Name in the first input box and the Domain Extension in the second input box.  Do not enter www as the server will take care of that part for you.
  7. Click the Save button

The domain name you entered will be created for your customer on our web server.
