Question:

How do I create an auto sign up page so that customers can purchase hosting and have their account set up automatically?


Answer:

To set up the auto sign up page:

  1. Login to the Helm control panel http://helm.gothosting.biz
  2. Click on the Account Settings Icon
  3. Click on the User Settings Icon
  4. Put a check in the Enable Remote Auto Sign Up Script box
  5. Put a check in the Enable Account Vetting box (this will require you to OK the account)
  6. Enter an email address to recieve notifications of new customer signups
  7. Click the Save Button
  8. The reseller account changes have been saved. 

To generate up your auto sign code:

  1. Click the Sign up Script Generator Icon
  2. Enter http://helm.wehostwebsites.com into the Control Panel URL
  3. Create a sign up success page and enter the full URL of its location in the Success URL input box (you must manually create your success sing up page)
  4. Create a sign up failure page and enter the full URL of its location in the Failure URL input box (you must manually create your failure page)
  5. If you wish customers to be able to select their hosting package put a check in the Ask customer to select a hosting package box
  6. Press the Next Button at the lower right

A complete HTML document will be created for you.  Copy the code to your web site and a hosting sign up form will be available to customers to automatically sign up for hosting with you
