Answer: To set up the custom billing features in the Helm control panel:
- Login to the Helm control panel http://helm.gothosting.biz
- Click on the Account Settings Icon
- Click on the Billings Settings Icon
- Check the Enable Billing System check box
- Press the Save Button on the right.
You will now be shown the billing system icons
- Click the Billing Configuration Icon
- Enter the currency symbol for your currency and select the number of days before due date to enable recurring billing transactions
- If you have enabled auto sign ups by creating a auto sign up page from the Helm auto generated sign up feature you can check the boxes for pay at sign up, request domain name and allow custom usernames and custom passwords. You should create a terms and conditions page and upload it then enter the full URL of its location here
- Create a custom header and footer for the sign up page and enter the HTML for these into the appropriate header and footer input areas
- When finished click the Save Button at the lower right
Click the Billings Setting Menu option in the bread crumb navigation for more settings
If you are required to collect tax:
- Click on the Tax Settings Icon
- Enter the percentage and name of the tax (state sales tax, VAT, etc) If you are not required to charge and collect tax leave these blank
- Click the Save Button
