Q: I can't see replies to my earlier post. Should I re-post my question?
A: Please try the following before posting your message again:
1: There may have been replies to your message that you do not see because
you have not downloaded enough newsgroup headers. If you are using
Outlook Express check your reader settings under
Tools> Options > Read > Get Next### Headers
2: By default Outlook Express will download 300 Headers. It is recommended
that you increase that number to 600
3: This adjustment is made in Outlook Express by going to Tools> Options>
click the Read tab. Under News edit so that it says Get 600 headers
4: Also under the Maintenance tab edit Delete news messages ## days after
being downloaded to read 60 days
5: If this fails to resolve your problems un-subscribe from the Newsgroup
that is giving you problems and close your news reader (outlook express)
Restart the news reader and re-subscribe to the newsgroup

Q: Why do I have all of these little non docked tool bars?
A: The latest Microsoft update has caused issues with many software
products that cause flyout tools to not function. There is an update
forFusion 7 & 7.5 that fixes this issue, Dowload the latest update

For older products the soloution is to uninstall the Microsoft update.

Q: I have tried to import my site as a template and I get the following
error message "Damaged objects have been found on the page and have
been deleted"
A: Make sure that you have all of the 3rd party components installed in
the component directory in the new version of Fusion before you
import. If they are not there, install them before importing. If
you experience this error message after using fusion for some time,
copy the newestbackup nod file to your user sites folder and click
on it to openfusion with the backup file. Work your way back in order
until you not have this problem, then rename the file to the proper
name and continue find a backup that does working. Make sure that
you have the number of backup files kept set to at least 5.

Q: I am looking to have 2 or 3 pages within a site that are to all
intents and purposes on their own. I am trying to have a different
style applied to each page that only effects that page.
A: 1. Go to the page that needs to be different
2. Click in the MasterBorder then the Add/Edit button on the palette
3. Create new MasterBorder based on default and give it a name (no
spaces & can't start with a number)
Now you can double click the banner and pick any other one from the styles.
You can click the navbar and choose any other from the dropdown list on the
property palette. You can click the bg tab and browse for a different bg
image or use a different color. You can also create a new link color and
hover color and paragraph style. All changes will be made on this page only

Q: I renamed a page and now when I publish my site but old name is still there
A: This is a known naming issue with Fusion. To correct this problem:
1) go to site view and click the offending page to select it
2) press CTRL + C (to copy the page into the clipboard)
3) press CTRL + V (to create a copy of the page below the problem page)
4) delete the old original page (the one you made the copy from
5) Delete the contents of the local publish and preview folders
6) do a full local site generation and the page with the problem name
will be gone

Q: For some reason I cannot remove anchors from my pages. I can bring up
the list but it won't allow me to click on a specific anchor to remove it.
A: In Page View you should see a Red icon wherever you have inserted an
anchor. If you click on this icon it will open the Anchor window. Then
click Remove and this Anchor will be removed. if you open the Anchor
window and try to select a particular Anchor you cannot delete it.

Q: My Images look really bad on AOL. In Netscape and Internet Explorer they
look great. What's up?
A: The AOL browser uses a graphics compression utility to speed up page
downloads. This will result in fuzzy images or images that contain
black bars. AOL members have the option of turning off this "Use
Compressed Graphics" in their Web Preferences.

Q: Our client wants a button that directs you to the previous visited page

A: Place the text or graphic you want to use as the link on your page.
and Highlight it, click the link button on the Layout Properties
palette, choose external link. Set the URL: dropdown to JavaScript:
and enter in history.back() OR history.go(-1). You can also do this
in a MasterBorder and have it available in all pages.
