Version 10 Application Preview PaletteApplication Preview:

When you preview a site project or page the browser that is selected is the one that you have set as the default one.

Add Additional Browsers: Click the Add button and browse to any other browsers that you have installed and add them to the list. You can change the default choice by placing a check next to the one you wish to always use when you preview a page in the NetObjects Fusion program

Preview Scope: Select whether you wish the preview to generate only the current page or the Entire Site. If you have a lot of pages selecting Current Page will let the preview show much faster as only one page needs to be created to preview.

Window Size: This is the size of window that is opened when Preview is selected and when you generate pages from Publish View.

Text Options:

Application Text OptionsBrowser Font Settings: To make sure that your pages appear in your browser the way you create them in NetObjects Fusion, choose the same font settings in your Setting Text Options browser that you use in your site. The default settings are the same defaults used by Microsoft Internet Explorer and most other browsers when they are installed. You should not change these settings unless you have edited your browsers default settings.

Automatically Select Entire Word: When this option is selected and you drag the mouse pointer over a word Fusion will select the entire word and trailing space

Smart Spell Check: When this option is selected, after Fusion checks the spelling of a text block it does not check the same text again unless you modify the text

Check Spelling As You Type: When this option is selected a wavy red line will appear under misspelled words as you type

Display Report Message: When this option is selected Fusion will display a box that shows the number of corrections made. You can disable this display by checking the "Don't display again" box after spell-checking your page. Placing a check in this option will re-enable the corrections box.

International Settings:

Application Settings InternationalDate, time, and decimal formats: The date, time, and decimal formats can be changed from what your system has set as its default.  A sample of the format is shown next to each language. To determine the decimal point character, select a format from the Decimal drop-down list. If you choose Use System Setting Fusion uses the setting in the Windows Regional Settings Properties dialog on your computer.

Language Spelling Dictionary: Select the dictionary you wish to use when checking spelling.

Sort Order: Character differences between languages result in different sorting priorities. To make sure that items in Assets view and Publish view are sorted correctly, you can choose a different sort order. This affects only how the items are displayed in Fusion. It does not affect the generated HTML. If you keep the default of Use System Setting, Fusion will use the current
system sort setting on your computer.

Checking for Updates:

Checking for UpdatesCheck for Updates: Here is where you Set your preferences for checking program updates.

Checking Manually: Setting the option to Manually will only check when you select Check for Updates from the menu choice Tools > Check for Updates or select Check for Updates from Online View.

Checking Automatically: Selecting the default of Automatically will check for updates using the following frequency options: Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.

When Automatically is selected, Fusion will search for updates when it is started and when the frequency option that you have selected is appropriate if you are connected to the internet otherwise it will check for updates the next time you are connected to the internet and the frequency option is appropriate.

Application Preferences:

Application PreferencesYou can use the Preferences tab to set a variety of default options and warning displays. Choose which warnings you want to appear when publishing or when working with pop-up windows and tables. Set color picker options to only display Web safe
