This little component has been around since NOF version 4. It's no longer supported by its maker, but it still works fine.
Here it is in action:
Instructions
First, download and install the component. Because it was made for NOF4, the installer tries to install into a NOF4 folder, so don't use the default installation directory when you run the installer. Rather, before you run it, in Windows, find your Components directory and manually make a sub-directory in it called CoolNavBar. Now, run the installer and at the relevant point in the installation routine, browse to that folder to install to.
Now open NOF.
Go to View / Toolbars / Component tools / auberger.com cool components
That will put the tool for the component somewhere in NOF. I found it docked at the top just above my working area and I didn't see it immediately. You can drag it from there and have it floating if you want.
Click the button and then drag a rectangle onto your page where you want the menu to appear. The component's dialogue box will load after a few seconds.
Adjust the settings to suit yourself. They're pretty clear.
If you are using px fonts specified with CSS (click for more info on this) then you must set the font size to "12 (+0)" and the font face to "Default" since those settings will ensure the component inserts no code for these settings into your page, thus your CSS settings will continue to be in effect.
