Nof 7.5 and NOF 8 Go to style view and find a style to your liking, then right click and choose duplicate style, then name it to reflect the name of your nod file.
Nof 7 and MX Create a new style (1), based on an existing one (2), name it accordingly(3), then apply it to your site.
This will protect the original style from being modified. I always name the new style the same as the site itself.
