Last night (June 16th) the gotFusion news server was restarted and some of the authentication files became corrupted which will require gotFusion members to log onto their accounts vie the web based news reader to become authenticated once again.
This will only need to be done once in order for the gotFusion extended support news groups to become visible in your outlook express or other 3rd party news readers. Once you have logged on to the web based interface and re- authenticated your account you will have to re-set your news groups and re-subscribe to the gotFusion extended support news groups. No information was lost, only the authentication that lets you view the information was disrupted.
Our news server and user authentication system has run flawlessly for the past 3 years and this is the 1st issue that we have had with it so outside of this minor inconvenience we are very pleased with its operation
